![]() ![]() They had everything I liked in a novel: romance, suspense and plot twists. I think Vixen and Ingenue are solid books to the series and I would have a hard time picking my favourite of the two. The set-up of the series reminded me a lot of Gossip Girl in that the there are betrayals, hook-ups and constant struggles for power within a “close” group of friends as they rebel against their upbringing. All three girls experience something different in each of their stories so there was a lot going on (not so much to be confusing, but you weren’t stuck with the same person all the time which kept it interesting). I read all three books over the course of a week (they are super quick reads!) and I really enjoyed them. The 1920’s have always grabbed my attention since learning about the decade in my high school history class so I was immediately drawn to the series.
